Where is this world coming to?

First Google surprised the world with a whopping 1GB space when 6mb was the upper norm.

Now out of the blue we have mailnation.net offering 1TB of free space. How the hell can they afford it? We can't we afford as much space for our desktops/laptops.

Now it is time that internet providers increase their bandwidth accordingly. A day might come when was our storage will done online!:ohyeah:

how much do you want more...... nothing with mailnation.net

BLEH what a waste...my google account has cobwebs in its inbox ..hardly filled 5% of it :S...i think with the amount of space these guys are giving all the extra space will decay :P this is like tryin to write a 2kb notepad file on a HD DVD

I'm guessing that the space is offered with the knowledge that hardly 1% (or even less) are gonna have that many emails to store. Most people would not ever want 1 TB of mails to be stored in their inbox. I guess both Google and mailnation are counting on that. Also, I guess the space is not reserved on a per user basis but is shared through a SAN(Storage area network).

its a scam....

this site mailnation and many others like these have been online for months for the last year or 2 ... and they keep floating new sites every now and then..

there were many whic i have used only to find that one fine day the service doesnt exist...

they offer pop and imap ..both for free.... nobody offers that for free.

do some research on this and you`ll find that its a scam... i`ll try to get some info soon and post about it..

EDIT:
has anyone heard of sgies.com -i think 5gb mail or something its down now.. and unitedemailsystems. another one of Mr.Vincent Liou `s creations...

check this out.
digg - Test MailNation!

United email systems. Can't say I liked it at all, it was the least reliable email service I have ever used.

As for inbox space, well, on Windows Live Mail I've already used up 11% of the 2GB space :D
