Oh shit! I just bought a 320GB and Seagate gave me only 1 year of warranty. :O

i really not sure of the current poilcy, it looks kind of tricky. Generation 7200.12 gets a 1 year warranty, while a 7200.14 drive has a 2 year warranty. I not just too sure though now!

Not true, Seagate changed their warranty policy this year to 2yrs warranty. Any older stock may still show as 1yr. You can just email them with invoice and they can update it in their system. If you bought it before they announced the increase from 1 to 2yrs, then of course you get only 1yr. All current drives will have 2 though.

Talking about internal drives.
