Storage Solutions 1TB Seagate Back Up Plus or ADATA HD710

Guys. Please suggest which one is better. Its bit urgent.

I have gone through all reviews and decided on this two. Please help.

HD710 is very slow in benchmarks. IINM, it was the slowest drive. HV610 fares much better. Get either the Seagate or that.

Have good experience with Seagate warranty. Not sure about ADATA.

I will recommend you to go for ADATA hd710. The purpose for which portable drives are used is to transfer data not for synthetic benchmark and Hd710 is fast in it . Also you will get a protective layer to prevent it from being get damaged in accidental drops. Rest choice is yours

Recently bought a 1tb seagate backup plus for myself considering the fact that it's the only drive manufacturer offering a portable hdd with modular sata to USB controller. Now I can even use my older 160gb spare hdd with seagate controller and can use portable storage on my goflex home dock.
