Storage Solutions 2*1TB or 3TB HDD need help

Guy, I need a HDD urgent but shall i go for 3tb HDD WD Caviar Green 3 TB HDD Internal Hard Drive (WD30EZRX) | Internal Hard Drive | Flipkart.com without sacrificing the Speed and storage :bleh:,since windows 8 is around the corner i can use it as boot drive also !! but i am worried about the current failure rate!! or shall i go for 2*1Tb itself ???? suggestion in this regard will be highly helpful thanks..

Internal
160*2,1TB Seagate, 500 GB Hitachi,
External
1TB Seagate Expansion, 2TB WD My book USB 3.0 (Just Placed the order)

Would advice not to use the green drives as boot drives as they are mainly for data storage and and not continuous read writes. Would suggest to get a 3tb if cost effective else go dow the order. Also if the drive goes kaput then you atand to lose 3tb of data at one shot
