Storage Solutions 2.5" 250gb HDD Dilemma

I wanna buy a 2.5" 250GB External HDD,was initially thinking of getting a 16gb Pendrive but thought for the double its cost + some more,I will get a portable 250gb

Now my dilemma is which one to go for :huh: I have a list,Order of Preference as below
1.Western Digital Passport 250 GB
2.Seagate Freeagent GO 250GB
3.Maxtor Basics 250 GB
4.Transcend StoreJet Mobile 250 gb

ok seached a bit and found out that Seagate offers 5years while WD just 3years

So wouldnt seagate be better??

Yeah but just a personal opinion there. I've been running 4 WD drives since 2 years including 2 640G AAKS. None of the drives have conked apart from the MyBook Home 500G showing a spin-up time err which turned up recently. Have to get that RMA'd.

U can even look at freecom or buffalo drives.. They have seagate or hitachi or wd hdd inside but major advantage they have is that they have in built usb .. which means u need not carry the miniusb to usb cable...
