2 networks possible using VMware?

I am noob at all this, so plz take my question lightly.

I have a BSNL EVDO USB modem with me......can i use another similar modem to connect simultaneously to the same PC using VMWare; thereby avoiding the need for a separate download rig?Its like this: Modem 1 downloads via Windows 7 interface while the other the other one operates through the VMware OS.

So, is it possible?
