I have a 2011 iMac which has been serving me well for the last 2 years. Suddenly last weekend while I was working on it it turned off and refused to power back on. After some initial diagnosis I have come to understand the logic board has failed.
When I push the power button I can hear the fans and the HDD turn on but the screen is blank. The logic board is close to 35k in the Apple authorised service center. I am looking for someone in Chennai who does chip level service on Apple iMacs. I would be grateful if someone can help me.
I contacted etechies.in but after reading some scary reviews I called off the appointment. I wish irepair.in was in Chennai, it would have made things easier.
