2024 Online Game Deals - Steam, Amazon, Origin, GOG, Humble Bundles

How often do these discount change during a sale season? Or do they remain the same?
Faber Anniversary lowest seems to be ₹115 way back in 2016. Current sale price is ₹384. It was ₹192 in the month of September. Just surprised that the sale season doesn't seem to match the non-sale season unless I'm mistaken.
Not every game goes on sale at the same time to the same extent.

Why not just subscribe to Game Pass for a month or two and binge-finish? All the Yakuza are on there.

Nine Sols has been added recently too so Game Pass could be an option for @Simarpreet Singh.

Thanks for the suggestions! Yes, that would probably be the cheapest way to play them. I'm not sure why but it feels weird not "owning" the game and losing access to it once I've stopped subscribing. Maybe because I play some games again or it's just a weird materialistic thing to want to have them in my library all the time.

I hear you, I have 117 games sitting in my Steam library right now

During Covid made the most use of GamePass to finish the Yakuza and Halo series within a few months. Haven't had much time to game post Covid and it is just ridiculous to see my combined PC storefront library cross 1000, not in small part due to the free Epic games. I just happened to get a Wii U console this year as it was cheap and that has several hundred titles across Gamecube, Wii and Wii U generations.

I suppose buying works if you are sure about dedicating yourself to a game for years to come. That boat has sailed for me.

I always make it a point to squeeze in a few hours of gaming every week, despite my job/other commitments. It's my happy place.

Now that I'm on medical leave till mid-December recovering from surgery, I'm back in college, game-binging (and not on a potato PC) :joyful:

Amazon prime gaming free games available now.
Outer worlds
Baldur's gate 1 and 2
Space Marine Baldur Gate (versions 1)
Warhammer Dawn of War (A old classic)
Space Hulk: Deathwing - Enhanced Edition
Necromunda: Hired Gun
Elite Dangerous
Quake II

Most games are old games for your GOG library. Most of them will stay in your library never to be played but would highly recommend Outer worlds if you are a fan of Fall Out : New Vegas. Can be completed in 20-30 hours so not a big commitment.
Also would highly recommend Baldur's gate 1 and 2.
If you are a 40k fan then quite a few choices for you as well.

I last had a ~6m phase of lots of gaming after leaving job. I have maybe a year or so of work to do and then might get another phase like that.
Eventually it gets boring too, mix of work and play in varying ratio works best for me.

Epic had the remastered version free earlier. This one i think is older than that. Will be playing this after few games. Havent played any fallout games either ...

I'm a close second at 110 games on Steam. I'll see if I can sort them by playtime and find games with 0 or <1 hour. It'll probably soothe the itch of making more purchases.

I think I'm definitely considering gamepass for games like Yakuza that are single-player and I probably won't replay again soon, if ever. Although I wish I could play them on my steam deck natively. Damn, a 1000+ games. I wonder if you even have the energy to claim GOG titles from prime gaming lol.

I would classify myself as a patient gamer even when I used to do it regularly, so never spent more than 1k on any title which was mostly on Steam. Initial build up was due to Humble as well as other bundles like on itch.io spread, also across UPlay and Origin with free titles from GOG and Amazon Gaming when I had Prime membership. Recent build up is due to Epic.

However, when I had Gamepass for that steal price of 2.5k or so for 2.5 years, did most of my gaming using that. Also helps that you can use xCloud from Japan or Singapore for single player stuff.

I stopped purchasing in 2021, but perhaps there a few titles I would like to still play over what I have in my library, doing so is difficult knowing that it may lay untouched for months or years.
