The GHMC is also appealing to genuine beggars to register themselves for rehabilitation. It is seeking help of various NGOs to make Hyderabad a Beggar Free city.

"We provide rehab as per need. If some one needs training, we will provide help. Children will be sent to schools, senior citizens in old age homes. We will ensure food and shelter to genuine beggars," Narayanan added.

There are genuine people, who are forced to beg for money due to various problems. But it's an open knowledge that begging is a huge business. So next time, think twice before giving money to beggars as they might be millionaires.

In the last 10 years, I have not at all given these cheap fux even a rupee unless he's really in bad bad position. Proud of myself!

This is very serious issue, children are trafficked from their villages and are forced to beg on the urban streets. Even some women use very young toddlers to gain sympathy of people but they are not mother of those children.

Child begging is very clearly part of the organised crime and mafia. By maiming and deforming child they create more revenue. A handicapped child earns more than a healthy child.

One should not support any kind of begging specially associated with kids at any cost. To stop all this no one should give any money to child beggars or their fake mothers.

- These beggars actually offer loans to bandi waala and street side vendors with some 8-10% interest i believe.
- Chillar business. Offer coins and take 2rupees commission on 100rupee change.
