Monitors 24 Inch high refresh rate 1440p monitor

Ya customs duty here is a serious problem. They charge random huge amounts.

There are two good 27" 4K. One from Dell Alienware and the other is MSI. Costs around 40K INR.
I absolutely agree with the customs and there price calculation,60 to 70 percent of the price of product charged by the customs.

We used to get 4K 144Hz monitors under 40k a year ago or so easily, LG was under 45k, Samsung was 40k.

Anyways for non-gamers, 27" 4K monitors are better in ppi vs 24" 1440p.

I know an MSI 4K 160Hz costs just above 40k but can you link the Alienware?

Here is that https://www.dell.com/en-in/shop/ali...5qf/apd/210-bnqp/monitors-monitor-accessories
It is ~Rs.50K. Looks amazing.

Is this an overkill?. To play at 4K resolution, how much money we need to put to build the computer?.

For 50k, I will rather get an 1440p 240Hz OLED monitor for its OLED panel (240Hz is useless for me, skill issue). MSI one costs like 55k or so.

I am eagerly waiting for OLED monitor prices to fall further down, hopefully can buy one in a year or two under 35-40k.

I have 7900GRE & most new big games don't run at 4K at high settings but I was able to enjoy HZD, GoT, GoW Ragnarok at 1700p at high settings with ultra textures. It looked beautiful on my 48" OLED TV. FF VII Rebirth, playing it with dynamic resolution between 1080p-1440p to maintain over 60fps at high. Games like CoD & BG3 are better played using KB+mouse instead of controller, hence the need of smaller OLED monitor. IMO 1440p looks great on 4K panel, but native 4K rendering will require at least RTX 5070Ti, even then need to rely on DLSS (so effective 1440p render, then upscaling).
