simmtronics RAM suck. all of them die out in 3 years

Hey , Its so confusing when ppl post contrasting opinions about the same product

Tushar have you even used Simmtronics RAM and if yes how long did yours last ?

Hey i asked a simple question is zion good or bad if it is not worth buying at 2k then i guess i should go for 2gb transcend jetram (800)at 1.75k

LOL....Your friend is trying to take you for a ride :)

ZION RAM 444 Mhz for 2K

havent heard of any DDR2 rams with 444 mhz

Better u can buy Transcend 2GB DDR2 667Mhz for about 1.5 K with 2 years warranty

ya man u r right .. i had 2x256 simmtronics ram in my old p4 pc ... wen exactly 3 yrs warranty was over after 10 dayz one died and after another 2 dayz the oda one ..died :(

most times the brand of the ram wont matter unless u r really into overclocking...

most brands of ram like dynet, simmtronics, zion or transcend will last longer than say ur procy and mobo.....

cosair and kingston and stuff are a level better...they are gud but come at a premium which may or not may be justified depending on the usage...

10 years warranty is nice to have but well....u pay a premium for it....that is something u need to decide....

pick up any ram which comes with a 3 year warranty and fits in ur budget....

transcend i wud hv always prefer mainly because i had gud experience with it....

good logic :)

i bought transcend 1x2GB @ 800Mhz for Rs 1850/- at computer empire, new delhi. first choice was kingston but it was un-available. however, kingston and transcend are almost equal. btw my 64mb sdram (7yrs old) and 256mb ddr ram (4yrs old) from simtronics still going strong :)
