CPU/Mobo 2GB to 8GB RAM -- Computer will not Start

My computer will not start at all with the new RAM. It just beeps. I have tried two configurations of 8GB RAM:

Looks like your system is Dell Optiplex 380 as shown in the report.

Description from Optiplex 380 manual - "Your computer supports a maximum of 4 GB1 of memory when you use two 2-GB DIMMs." I don't think your motherboard supports 8GB memory in your system. The upper limit for 1 slot is 2GB only. So for two slots it is 2X2GB - Max of 4GB. Also, the speed mentioned there is 1066MHz, so you wont be able to use 1333Mhz. Hope this helps.
