Confused between a couple of 2TB internal hard drive. Suggest the best. Have to use it for storing movies, etc. and some casual gaming.
1) WD AV-GP 2TB (WD20EURS) : Checked the expert's advice on this one, they say its meant for DVRs and CCTV cams to record video. Speed is slow when used in desktops but hard drive is reliable and comes with 3 yr warranty.
2) WD Caviar Green 2TB (WD20EZRX) : Reviews say its slow, don't know about reliability. Just wish to know, how "slow" it is? Comes with only 2 yr warranty. Can be a good choice I guess.
3) Seagate Barracuda 2TB (ST2000DM001) : Have been using a 1TB Seagate Barracuda since 2009, works just fine. Willing to go for it. Checked the reviews, they say its benchmark fast in its category.
Seagate always had issues with reliability. Not worried about the hard drive but worried about the data. Need serious advice on this one.
