I am running my PC on 250GB Seagate HDD.
it was working fine and suddenly died when i restarted my PC.
Then i connected my friend's recently bought 500GB.

it died after loading OS.
then i immediately opened 1TB WD green.
it too died when booting up.
i have seen smoke coming out of HDD.

can i get warranty for all these drives.
what was wrong suddenly?

If those drives are under warranty, then you can get them replaced.

Check you PSU. Faulty wiring, improper power supply, circuit shorting out, etc are the probable causes here.

^^ There ya go- that's the problem. I am not sure how good is that psu :p and you haven't made any efforts to display your complete configuration.
