I think this is valid only for accounts without an active Game Pass Ultimate/XBL Gold

1, Get 1+7 months of Xbox Live Gold at 489+taxes https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/p/xbox-live-gold/cfq7ttc0k5dj/000C?activetab=pivot:eek:verviewtab

(Optional Step) 1.a, In case if you want even more validity, you can stack XBL Gold using the gift option at 1049 for 6months(upto a maximum of 36months) before converting to Game Pass Ultimate

2, Then grab 1+7 moths of Game Pass Ultimate for 699 https://www.microsoft.com/en-IN/p/xbox-game-pass-ultimate/cfq7ttc0khs0?activetab=pivot:overviewtab - this will convert your 8 months XBL Gold to Game Pass Ultimate + gives extra 8 months

Quick mafs:

Total cost = (489+699)*1.18 = Rs1401.84
No of months = (1+7) + (1+7) = 16months
Cost per month = 1401.84/16 = Rs87.615/month

Is the extra 7 months on Gold and GPU a new offer? I don't remember seeing it before.

Also, any info around how long this might be available?

I don't know the exact terms and conditions but I was able to cancel it and get refund.

Not sure how much I will use it, but picked it up anyway for the price. Used a new account without a XBox ID to be on the safer side, though it may work with older accounts without an active subscription.

Hoping at some point until Jun 2024, even Xbox Cloud Gaming comes to India.

The PC Xbox app is hot garbage. Atleast was 4-6 months ago. Don't know if anything has changed since now I play exclusively on Xbox.
