I own a 32TA2800. Spent about 24k on it (Singapore). A pretty good buy at that cost. It does not have HDMI, but has DVI-D. You could use a HDMI-DVI cable. The image quality/data bandwidth of HDMI and DVI are exactly the same. (HDMI just has the bundled audio stream and is HDCP complaint.) If you plan to run an HTPC with this TV, you should have no problems whatsoever.
Am pretty satisfied with the setup.

But how will it connect to DVD Players which upscales resolution of regular DVDs through HDMI ? And hows its PC connectivity? Is it really nice to see movies at full 1366x768 full screen?

There are HDMI to DVI cables you can use. No loss in image quality. The audio connections have to be done separately.

Yeah, I have watched some 720p videos and they look pretty good to me. I have it hooked to my computer at home as an extended display through DVI.

Thanx a lot.I am also looking to hook it to my PC.

Just now i have downloaded manual of 32TA2800 from Philips site and in that it shows it has HDMI input . May be newer models have HDMI . Its really confusing.
