Graphic Cards 3dmark scores lower in Vista than XP

I just noticed that my 3dmark05 scores on my baby XPS dropped down by around 8% in Vista as compared to on XP

1989 vs 2100

(Go7400 on C2D XPS M1210)

Haven't noticed any real word performance difference in games so am not really bothered abt this, but was just wondering if others have tried this and experienced similar resultrs

Anyway, Am going to install 3dmark on the desktop and check if scores went down there too

Well NV's vista drivers are in a really shabby state as of now. The only option is to just wait for better drivers. The realworld performance delta varies from 0% to 20%.
