3G alternatives for multi state/circle use ?

Now that the TRAI/Govt. is waging an all out war with all telecom operators , what is the option left with consumers to enjoy seamless 3G services across states ?

Take my case for example. .I have an Airtel Connection in Pune (3G Enabled) which works everywhere in India, with 3G coverage by Airtel or any other operator with which Airtel has tie up with in that particular circle, like Idea in Maharashtra.

Now post the debacle Airtel is not allowed to distribute any "new" 3G connections in Maharashtra. .So if I want to take a Sim connection for my iPad with 3G enabled , my only option is Vodafone or Idea. But here is the issue, if one travels as much as I do, i will definitely bump into a circle where the operator is not the winning bidder in that circle and thus my 3G services will be discontinued. . I am in Hyd (AP Circle) for 3 days in a week and am unable to use Vodafone 3G because of this. .

Do i have any alternative ? or do i need to buy a different Sim for each state i go to ? is this what it will degenerate into . . so much for one number one nation crap. .MNP. .bullshit !!

Bsnl is only comapny as of now that has pan india license.
Thats your best choice.

Any news on this getting sorted out anytime soon ??

Go with MTNl been using their 1650 200GB 3G for past year in Gujarat without any problem.it gives rock solid speed throughout day...it use BSNL tower here.

is this a mtnl delhi card or mtnl mumbai ? Both of them seems to have diffing amount of data for the 1650 plan. Delhi says unlimited, but mumbai says its a 50gb plan. Either way is good for me
