Hi,

I was wondering if I can get a Laptop In India for My Sister which has inbulit 3G Modem and SIM card slot wherein you can insert the SIM from any Provider and start internet on go. I was buying a Huawei USB Dongle but wanted to know if we have anything here which has inbuilt modem and hence no need to purchase any external device? Any advantage or disadvantage of same? Or I have to get a unlocked Modem to get 3G Internet?

Go with the dongle.
3G laptops have not taken off in India yet.
There are only a few netbooks available with 3G from brands like HCL and Olive.

Mate it is not possible to buy from any Indian shop.

Why are you recommending it if its not available in India?
It doesn't even have 3G!
