3G service in Bangalore

Hi Guys, I recently signed up for Vodafone 3G in Bangalore and am disappointed with the speed and coverage. I was wondering if other service providers are better.

I use Aircel, its much cheaper and I usually get 6-10Mbps depending on time and location.

Any idea how Airtel is? I am not comfortable migrating to smaller players.

They have the best network coverage in the city. You might find them pricey.

suggest you check out a couple of apps, sensorly and open signal. They show maps where various ISP's have signals, its not comprehensive but gives you a rough idea of who has a signal in the area you live & move in. How fast really depends how far you are from a tower and time of day ie how busy it is.

Vodafone uses Airtel's signal in Bangalore since they don't own a 3G license for Karnataka. The speeds etc. should remain the same.

My experience with Airtel has been that in some areas it is excellent and in some areas it downright refuses to connect at all.
