How do you compensate for gap between gpu chip and gpu heat sink?.gpu chip is 2 mm high and gpu heatsink is 2mm high.Memory heatsink is 2.5 mm and memory chips are 1mm few microns less.if you add 1.5 mm thermal pad between memory chips and memory heatsink it will 5 mm and gpu chip and gpu heat sink will be 4 mm.Its 1mm less so gpu will not be tightly pressed against heatsink because of 1 mm difference.if you close card yup memory temp will fall but gpu Hotspot will rise to more then 100C as it is not tightly seated against heat sink.and 2 more thin heatsinks are half mm further high then memory heat sink you have to look for that also.All measurements are taken by a high quality warnier clipper and are accurate.
