3M Microfiber cloth price?

I recently bought 3M microfiber cloth from this TE deal thread

It cost me Rs 280 (Rs 250 price + Rs 30 delivery charges). I thought I had done a good deal but now I have come to know that microfiber cloth is readily available in India for as less as Rs 30!! Is this true? Did I screw myself by buying it for 280? FYI, I live in Delhi.

thats for the local unbranded ones.. the one in that thread is 3M..

whatever it is,, if thats the case its your fault. No use cribbing about it after you bought something. You should have done your home work

well yes u can get microfiber cloth for much less but not 3m.the 3m costs about $4 in the US which is about 160 the cost of getting it to india and dealers profit justifies the price,however i have seen 3M cloth retailing for about 180 in METRO* store in bangalore.

You can't compare apples to oranges...microfiber cloths comes in various brands, sizes, qualities and to be used to for various application....even 3M themselves sell microfiber cloths meant for various different applications like cleaning your eyes glasses and even cleaning your kitchen crockery. Every cloth is different in its area of application. The cloth you bought is specifically made by 3M to be used only on electronics and the exact same cloth is not sold in India (even by 3M India) . Its a different issue if you are comparing the exact same product in all respects.

You could even buy an ordinary pen for Rs. 2 in the market but then again there will be branded pens that sell for thousands of rupees too. That does not mean that you got cheated out of your thousands cuz you can find a pen locally for Rs. 2.

Even if you were living in the US and bought the same cloth you would have paid

Heres the cheapo one i picked up recently. Got it since it was cheap though personally i think microfibre cloth is snake oil at least for cleaning lcds and stuff since i ve been using whatever cloth i find at hand to clean lcds and havent managed to scratch any surface yet over the last 8 years.

and yes no use cribing about anything after you have bought it. prices change every day as well so you might lose out on a deal even by a few minutes but its not worth breaking your head over it.

Guys, thanks for clearing my doubts! Considering that I have bought a high quality cloth, I think the prices are justified. I now do not have any regrets at all!
