Ati 5850 wud be much better card but its going to increase ur budget by 5k.

Processor: Intel Core i5 750 - 10.3k

Cm 590 - 4k is a better buy.

TX 650 - 6.5k is good buy.

If you plan for core i5 then Hyper TX3 would be better.

Coolermaster Hyper TX3 - 1.2k ( for core i5 ,core i7 , Phenom II , etc)

Ocz Vendatta 2 - 2.4k ( better buy than Hyper 212+)

No chance of Fermi till January.

read my siggy dude i own the coolermaster tx-3 its a ok heatsink and its good if you don't want to overclock.

i wouldn't give low-average performance heatsinks to my high performance pc!!

anyone else has anything to add/suggest?

@ joyoceanblue---your point was exactly what i pointed out to anubis.
any one has any more suggestions?

from what I have read on other forums regarding cpu coolers, Hyper 212plus is said to be the most VFM cooler. And it supports pretty much every socket there is.

I'm also looking for it when I get my i5 config (hopefully Nov end)

this discussion is not about the cpu cooler!!!
please help me deciding what i need to buy and suggest hardware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cabinet - CM 590 @ 4k

psu - corsair tx-650 @ 6.5k

heatsinks - coolermaster hyper 212+ @ 1.9k

monitor - dell S1909w @ 6.8k

Procc -Phenom II X3 720 B.E. @ 6.4k(unlock to quad core, possibility is high)

Mobo -Gigabyte 785GMT-UD2H - 5.9k

RAM - 4GB DDR3 Corsair Titanium 1600MHz C9 @ 6k

Gpu - Ati 5850 - 17k

PSU - Glacialpower 650w - 4.7k

Monitor - BenQ G2220HD @ 8k

Cabinet - CM590 @ 3.8k

U get the HD5850, what more to ask for? also, to get a quad core fro an X3 is higher(in terms of possibility) than an X2(like 550 B.E.)...

which of the two---hd 5850 or the hd5870 would be more suited to run games at 1680x1050 (native resolution of my 22incher) at full settings with 8xaa / 16x af?

which are the best flavours of these cards?

Ati 5870 would be a better buy .

i meant what brands are available and what would be the approx pricing of the brands?

hmm isnt 5850 more than enough for the mentioned res 1680x1050?

I mean it doesnt break a sweat even at 1920x1080. In my opinion cards like 5870 are more suited for 2560x res. I may be wrong though.
