40gb PS3 in India officially? And the new kickass ad for it!

The 40GB version is supposed to be introduced in India on the 5th of this month with a price tag of 25k. Also as you may all know the price for the 60GB version has been reduced to 30k. Once the stock of 60GB versions is finished in India, the 80GB version will be sold at the same price. Also I am guessing there would be another price cut here before this year ends. There would probably be a price cut for XBOX 360 too to counter the PS3 price cuts.

Hmmm, i havent been able to confirm this but, my friends in masia, have told me that they are getting a "modded" 40GB PS3. I seriousily didnt think that could be true. Will post back, when they get their sets. Oh and the retail price is at : about 14K. No warranty.
PS3 hasnt been launched officially in masia yet.
 
Friend in Jakarta got a 'modded' PS3 2 days ago.. 15k no warranty..and its fabulous it seems.. xD
 
Except 20, 40, 60 and 80 gb versions no other version is out. I wonder where people are geting these 30gb and rs. 15k systems from...
 
i saw a flyer today in the morning from sony saying that they're selling the PS3 80 GB version for 29k and all PS games for 999

check out the stores guys....
 
What does this modded version mean ? I think they mod the PS2 in it so it can play pirtated PS2 games or something right? I dont see the point of modding it when updates can pretty much cancel the mod no? Any clues / idea's?
