Ummm this is not exactly 46". You need to measure the distance diagonally when you keep the 2 LCDs side-by-side. 46" is when you have 4 of them together. ;)

Anyways congrats. This one seemed like a deja-vu since I distinctly remember you posting photos of 4 odd Dell LCDs at your home with the boxes stacked one above the other. :)

its still 46" diagonally only ratio is not 16:9 now.

No it isn't 46" still even though the ratio is 32:9 as andrew's posted. Do you think the 2 diagonal distances are the same in the 2 cases here?

^^^ diagonally corner to corner with a measure tape is 114m

so u let me know how much it that in "
114 meters = 4488.18898 inches

114 millimeters = 4.48818898 inches

you said m

its 114cm so shit have to change the title to 44.88 now

or leaving out the 4cm of the frames is 110cm = 43.30"

i.e leaving out 4 x 1cm panels that come in between when measured diagnolly

Finally confirmed its 43.30" but really doesnt make ne difference

Actually its 98 cm which is 38.5 inch you will need to minus all sides of the frame....

And its 38.5" 32:9 one would say and not 16:9 for that you will need more two panels :P

Well a 46" lcd will have a screen size of 40" W x 22.5" H where as the current 2 x dell total screen size is 39" W x 12.1" H.
So a 46" lcd is wider by 1" and taller by 10.4" .

yes that would be correct for a 16:10 46" lcd

Not really the one i said was for a 16:9 lcd for a 16:10 lcd it would measure 39" W and 24.3" H.

Anyway congrats,how about adding another 23" lcd:P

u guys dont seem to get my point tv screen sizes are always measured diagonally from corner to corner
Now ratios of 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 or mine like andrew said works out to a ratio of 32:9 are all going to be measured same corner to corner.u cant compare a 4:3 with a 16:9 or a 16:9 with a 32:9
but measured from corner to corner its still a 43.40"
