Its priced similar to 9500GT, so expect Rs 5K for Killer performance..

NV camp is in shock..

The e-mail pretty much said in a nutshell "Please:rofl: compare the HD 4670 to the 9600 GSO and 9600 GT and not the 9500 GT, because that’s where the card is really aimed at.
:hap5:

^^ At 5k, the 9600GT is a no brainer at 5.5k

They need it to price at 8600GT levels here in India if they want some sales, as gamers would go for 9600GT whereas HTPC users would go for HD3450, their pricing will depend its fate in India...

^^ i guess, 5.5K you quoted was KMD price.. We can get 4670
under 4K from KMD.. Street prices for 9600GT varies between 6.5K - 8K..

^^ i think, upcoming games will favour more shaders.320 SP's might perform better than 64 SP's on 9600GT, though 320/5 = 64 but 64 SP's on HD4XXX Series are 40% more efficient over Previous.DMC 4 is good example, how future games will favour more Shaders.

Upcoming games will crawl on both the cards... Always look at current scenario.. Maybe it will be the higher bandwith which might come into play.

At 4.5k its a good deal

@aces he wont give up. :P

these cards are ideal for someone who wants to game on 17-19inchers for the next year or so. will prolly be able to play on all high settings with a lil bit of AA thrown in too.

someone looking to game at a higher res shouldnt even be looking at them.

ps-check my sig. did you get yours yet?

@ Aces
Agree, upcoming games might be bandwidth limited, i don't think all upcoming games will be like Crysis.. With 40GBs bandwidth, 4670 runs Crysis fine at 1650.. What is making 4670 shine is its 320 SP's - enough for upcoming games at 1280 with eye candy..
@ Stalker
first time agree with you Completly..:P

will a generic zebby 400w psu b able to run it...i dont see any 6pin connector on this card...currently am running 8400gs on it..without any problem..

@Stalker Did you get yours from Amarbir ? If yes hows it working, Iexpect my comp to be on 24/7 can the expertvision handle that ?

i got the zotac.

funky and others told me that the xpertvision's dual slot cooler aint nothing fancy to turn things in its favour. plus zotac's 5 year warranty sealed it.

i got it delivered to kharghar to avoid octroi. i paid

Total: INR 6385.32
all inclusive.

card is teh GOOD :D.. runs at 47-49C idle.. with fan at 40%.

on load with rthdribl it has reached a max of 70C.

I dont see why you should have any issues with the system running 24*7.

Can this run Crysis at 1680x1050 with highest settings? I guess it would be a stretch. I am saving up for getting a 4870.

I say rectify that to 19" as most games except crysis (and most prolly Far Cry II) can easily be ran on this card
