PC Peripherals 5.1 speakers or 5.1 headphones

hi guyz, sorry for starting a new thread.

what do u think guyz,

shud i go for 5.1 speaker set or 5.1 headphones.i want them xclusively for gaming.

for watching dvds and music, i do have a 9000W sony home theatre at home :eek:hyeah: :eek:hyeah: :eek:hyeah:

plz guyz, suggetions reqd.
 
speakers.... no doubt at all.... unless you have a limited budget and cannot go above that(like 2.5K) s
 
Headphones are generally considered better for gaming.
Big difference in doom3 with hi-end 5.1 headphones versus 5.1 speakers.

I still prefer speakers though, don't like to wear phones.
 
@saumilsingh...... They say headphones are better when compared to standard stereo speakers....

But when it comes to 5.1 speakers, they are waaaay better than any heasphones on the market now.....

There is no doubt at all....5.1 speakers are the best choice...

another question guyz
can i connect my computer to my 9000W sony home theatre. if yes can u tell me how to do that. i do have an asus a8n-sli mobo and amd 3200+proc.
