5.5" Galaxy Note 2 allegedly scheduled for October 2012

The new device will supposedly feature a slightly larger 5.5-inch screen (as opposed to the 5.3 on the original), which will again be of a Super AMOLED variety, and have a WSXGA+ resolution (1680 x 1050 pixels).
Also rumored is an 8MP camera with improved sensor, as well as 1.5 GB of RAM, along with a new Exynos 5250 chipset, featuring a dual-core ARM-15 processor. 4G connectivity will allegedly come standard for all international units.

The next monster phablet. Guess the bezels a bit smaller. So the size of the phone should remain more or less the same. But a WSXGA+ resolution on a 5.5" screen :O That's FHD? (16:10) Plus some ARM 15 love too.

For note 16:10 is actually preferred and more suitable aspect ratio. Fhd is 16:9. So it will have to be 1920*1200 which frankly I don't see happening this year at that size with super AMOLED. So 1680*1050 actually seems logical.

True i really like 16:10 aspect ratio of note as it looks more proportionate rather than 16:9 of S3.

The release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not yet confirmed and could be inaccurate as we are few months away from its debut. So hold on to your Note
