5 inch android phones

S23 is 6.1"
Yeah, which is pretty close to 6", and not to mention it feels as small as a 5" smartphone from 2014 (Lumia 730)

Honestly, not many other options. There are smaller but those have really shit specs and aren't available in India.
Eg: Rakuten Mini

For the edge 50 neo, I can reach across the screen using my thumb and use it one handed, except for the top half of the screen. Which is still doable but need to do some gymnastics with the phone which is fine with me.

For S23, can almost use 3/4th of it single handedly, which is good enough with gestures tbh

A simple test is , can you use the phone with one hand. Holding in left hand can you reach to the button like "call receive" or any other things on screen on bottom right. Basically one handed operation. Most of these phones need 2 hands to operate.

Ah so converting 19.5:9 to 16:9

A 6.1" 19.5:9 device has dimensions of 2.56" x 5.54" and an area of 14.158 in sq

A device with that area, rounded to 3 decimal places, and a 16:9 aspect ratio would be 2.82" x 5.02" with a diagonal measurement of 5.7562", or basically 5.76".

16:9 phones are certainly wider than their more recent counterparts and needed to be still smaller

The 19.5:9 would be more comfortable in hand than its 16:9 counterpart

In my case S23 vs V20 and former wins easily
