Bump....and a happy update that the back panel lock problem has been fixed by giving a slight squeeze to the locks in the opposite direction.Will post updated pics as soon as possible.
 
Removed the scratch guard and posted fresh pictures in the starting post.The solved back panel is also shown clearly.

Status: On hold for a friend locally. :)

Would you mind telling me whats the current os version on the device? also, what build is it? is it yakju/maguro/takju ?
Also, is there a scratch on the upper left corner of the screen ?
