Requirement: Gaming (casual) (I mean I will be playing hardcore games like BF3, but I don't need ultra high details just so that they can see the shadow of their player have more details)

I do understand that the Toshiba has the best processor, and the worst Graphic card

The Samsung has a good GPU, but the processor is lame.

The Dell is the jack of all trades, has a decent GPU(though the one on Samsung is better), and a decent processor, though the one on Toshiba is better. (Remember 3610 is better than 3612, dont get fooled by the name.)

But will the better processor matter?

Games do not take advantage of multiple cores [much less hyper-threaded cores], a Core i5 quad-core will be sufficient for all your gaming needs, the discrete nVidia graphics card they have provided is better than the AMD equivalent so I think the answer is pretty revealed. The hard-drive provided is also of a larger capacity.

Yes they are right about the graphics part but what i have found out over the years somehow ATI topped out over Nvidia (though the 6xx cards are best cards on the planet).. My 5470m even though just 512 many times outperforms 1Gig Nvidia cards (though here again the xx70 and xx90 cards are better once)..

Best suggestion with cards that powerful you need not be bothered, they will run all current games decently.. If not you can drop down the game settings a step or two so that you can have better fps (which matters most according to me rather then the stupid shadow details of my player)

Comments on this, guys?

If gaming then the first one. In games there wont be much of a difference between the Core i5 dual core and the Core i7 quad in a laptop.

The GT650M is a Keplar based 28nm GPU. Even though this one is a DDR3 version it is still much better than the HD7610M which a 40nm GPU based on the HD6xxxM architecture.

Go for the first laptop. You will get some extra storage space too.

BTW what brand laptops are they? If you have a link from which you took the specs then do post them. We can then let you know how well built the laptops are and whether the brand is worth the money etc....

How about this ??

Samsung Series 5 NP550P5C-S02IN 3rd Gen Ci7/8GB/1TB/2GB Graphics/Win 7 HP: Flipkart.com: Compare, Review Samsung Notebook

avilable at 57k on snapdeal

I am also looking for a same range,
any lappy with Better screen resolution & i7 3rd gen?

Its the same Samsung n550p model with i7, rest same. Config wise nothing beats it (either i5 or i7). You won't get better resolution in this budget, especially with this config. BTW why do you need 3rd gen CPU? It doesn't matters if your GPU is > HD4000.
