Storage Solutions 500 gb or 1 tb?

I just checked the price of seagate freeagent go, 500gb costs rs4900 and 1tb costing rs5300, but the lady who picked the call said that itb model requires extra power supply. so what shud i do now?

any advice?

extra power = via adapter.. it is 3"5 drive.

the 500GB one is 2.5" pocket drive which get power through usb itself.

decide what is your main concern, more space for data or less space for drive ?!?!

Seagate Free Agent Go 500GB= Rs.4800, USB Powered

Which one should I go for? Freeagent Desk is bulky. Is there a Freeagent Go model for 1TB and what will be the price for that?

In UK, the 1TB portable is ~£130 wich comes to 9000 bucks.

It cost me Rs.4900

First decide wheather you want portable HDD.

I would recommend to go for 1TB(If portability is not a matter)
