somebody on E just sold one for the same price

In fact, someone here sold a 2500k for 8k.. I have not seen someone sell a 2600k for 5000-8000 lol. I think i will wait for a buyer. Not looking for a quick sale.
If not sold at the price i mentioned, the CPU stays with me.

Not exactly.. I bought that CPU & certainly didn't paid 8k since no warranty... Infact I got another 2500k on E for ~8k but it had 1.4months warranty with bill...

the processor is capable of 5.2-5.3 ghz oc and I have run it at 5ghz stable on Maximus IV Gene Z. Never used at temps higher than 50 degree and never used 24/7.

On the other forums, there's a group order thread from 2011. Mr Banik (thebanik) arranged 52-53x processors from SMC at a little extra cost. That's where i got it from.
This can be verified from SMC International itself.

I might have the bill too.

Or you can check E and you will find that I purchased this processor there.

I did have CPU-Z and posted there but those 4 year old links don't work now.[DOUBLEPOST=1430318272][/DOUBLEPOST]Just checked again. Apparently its capable of 54x multiplier. But frankly, I have never tried that much and I don't recommend doing that with Air cooling anyway.
