Im currently getting a flickering issue when crossfire is enabled, no decreased performance the cards seem to run fine apart from this, i have tried all the usual tricks 1 bridge, 2 bridges, dvi over hdmi etc 10.5 drivers and 10.6, different monitor and nothing seems to reslove it, my specs are Mentioned in the sig, if any1 would be able to assist me i would highly appreciate it

Thanks

If this is specific to 3DMark Vantage, you need not worry. Its known to happen in there.

Let us know if you are getting it even in games.

Likely a driver issue. Could you try 10.4 or 10.5 drivers. Also is Catalyst AI set to advanced..?

Here's a Video for the same

update to 10.7

and tried on 10.4 10.5 10.6 and 10.7 same issue on every set

Try to run one card at a time [ physically removing one card from the system] and check if its a GPU issue. Suppose you get this problem with one card and not with the other one then it would be a faulty card . If both the cards are working properly then it could be a driver issue. Also try the same with the RAMS, inserting just one at a time {once had a similar problem due to a faulty RAM} . Also upgrade the latest BIOS on your Motherboard.

Are you sure the Crossfire bridges are connected properly ? Did you receive the bridges with the mobo ?

Have you ever updated the Motherboard's BIOS?

Here's a link for EVGA X-58 LE bios:

EVGA | Support | Download Drivers

Read the instructions carefully before flashing the BIOS.

^^

He would have got a bridge also with each card. He has tried different ones. The BIOS flash 'might' help.

Also did you try the Driver Sweeper method for driver install...?

@KLiCK

If everything mentioned above Fails , try installing a fresh copy of Windows and then check if the problem still persists.

what you are experiencing isnt a flicker but rather fps issues. And it is common with 5870 crossfired and this issue is faced by many users.

Its a driver issue which is not able to couple two 5870s properly. Either you try to use the stock drivers which came with the cards or like others, wait for some stable, improved drivers from ati.

Make sure not your processor nor gpu is OCd.

ftw try these links:

Have you tried V-Sync on and off ? I experienced what you have when I tired 8600gt sli a while back and the culprit was a faulty sli cable. If it persists even when changing drivers there is a good chance your xfire cable , cable's are at fault.

guys thnx for ur input

it was just a bridge problem

thnx every1
