5net - DC++ disconnects randomly

Help!!! DC++ disconnects frequently

Guys I have 5net 1 MBPS Unlimited plan provided by my local cable wallah- SSV. The speeds are fine as I get 100+ kbps always on torrent & sometimes >1 mbps :O:O. My problem is that when I use DC++ (5net has a DC++ hub) it keeps disconnecting my net connection after every 15-20 mins. It happens randomly. Please help. Also how do I set up DC++ through a Belkin router. Thanx
 
dude .. dc will frequently disconnect after every 2gb of download/upload then you have to either change your username to connect immdiately or wait for few minutes to connect with your old name .. i dont know how to setup 5net with router better ask 5net guys and i have heard you dont get disconnect via router so please reply if its true !!!

Yea recently Ive seen I get disconnected randomly .. even Im using belkin router ... deal with it man ... it will automatically reconnect after 2 mins or so naa ?
 
Go to Network connections >> Broadband Connection >> Options >> Redial Attempts (99)>> Time between Redial Attempts >> (3-5 seconds).

Hope you have these settings in place because the 5net connection logs out after every 2GB of data transfer(upload + download).So when you are using DC++ there are chances you dl/ul so fast that it disconnects every 5-10 mins. To avoid that keep these settings and it will automatically reconnect :).
 
hey faheem whats ur dc hub nick ??? Im currently not online on it cos i sold my pc .. will be back in jan ...
 
^ It will connect after 4-5 minutes usually . My DC nick is ShareKhan :ashamed: :rofl:.
 
^lul .. mine was GraphicsAppsTutorials ... now i keep changing it randomly and stopped sharing my stuff :P .. only share a small 30 gb folder or random bs :P
 
Could someone please provide me with the IP of the Fivenet DC++ Hub? I found a few online but they dont seem to work for me.
 
lame i made a mistake :P ... is that the one ? ive not been using since quite some time ... so i forgot
