Hey ppl,

I recently bought a Used Sapphire 4850 from the market

but it unfortunatly did not have a 6 pin pci-e connector bundled :(

so I need to get hold of one

I tried to source it from lammy

But after visiting almost all shops in lammy i only managed to get a 6 pin pci-e connector having only 5 pins attached :S

SO if any of you guys have a spare 6 pin pci-e connector plz help out :)

PS: I can trade with a Crossfire Bridge ;)

This is the same problem which i faced too. All connectors are 5 pins.
if you have an old PSU lying around you can also make it OR convert an existing 5 pin connector into 6 pin. Google it or I can show you how to make it.

even the converter that comes with palit HD4850 DD5 edition has 5pins connected.

its working fine in my friends machine... the 6th pin must be a ground ... look for the connection made at the 6pin plug's end.. two black wires must have been short...it's perfectly fine if that's the case.

thanks everyone for your offers pmed ya'll
@ Madnav: i tried the 5 pin one n with that my card used to start up but then the display used to blink for a couple of secs before going off

btw i have an antec true 480 W PSu which used to power a 8800 Ultra so its not PSU problem
