yeah 6800nu seems to nice deal if u like to OC ...... it can be easily softmodded to unlock all the pipes....... but if u running ur card stock them i will say X800 seems better ......

That's why I asked AGP or PCI-E.. the PCI- E6800 NUs are locked, no pipline unlocking for them.

mostly i am thinking about PCIe card because it will cheap compare to AGP.

but if i can unleash power of 6800NU then i might think of that as well.

Just to clarify, the 6600GT has 128MB of DDR3 memory and the 6800NU has 256 of DDR1 memory. This very much makes a big difference and is the reason both cards are roughly equivolent below 16x12 with AA and AF. 128-bit and 256-bit is a big difference though when you're really cranking.

The 6600GT at 1024x768 probably into 1280 x 1024 can definitely swing some AA and AF on any game out there. HL2 1024x768 4AA 8AF 82 FPS. No slouch.

but what about the price boss.........

as i told you my max budget is 200 $......

x800 is better than 6600 GT.
is there any powerful 6600 ultra ?

No 6600 Ultra.

X800 standard version is around 189$ in the US. I don't know abt S'pore or Tokyo. It is better than 6600GT by a big margin...6800NU for PCIe is locked. That is more expensive than 6600GT and X800. And X800 performs better.

Exactly, if you don't want to upgrade your mobo you can't even think of PCIe. Also I don't think your 2.4c Northwood would fit into a 915 or 925 board, that means a new processor as well, and a whole new rig ;)

If its AGP, then you will not get anything better than the 6800 (I'm not bragging ;) ), coz the X800 beats the 6800 hollow and the X800XL is PCIe. The 6800 also kills the 6600GT AGP, now its your say !
