6630 -> 6681 or 6680.. worth it?

Alright, 6630 got flicked. Worth spending 2K more on a 6681 or 3K more on a 6680? It's the absolute max I want to get (6680).. music is served by my iRiver h140, which has FM as well.. leaning toward the 6630, just wanted some other opinions.

PS - urgent - going to buy the phone tomorrow.
 
I guess there's nothing significantly better about 6681 than 6630. I've used both the phones and I currently own a 6681 and I think it's about the same as 6630 except the design and small changes to the OS.
 
speed->6630

higher free memory -> 6630

flash -> 6681

3G - >6630, 6680

flash, 3g ->6680

better design ->6681,6680

better keypad ->6630

newer OS ->6681,6680 (Symbian 8.0a) 6630 (Symbian 8.0)

Active Standby is only available in 6681,6680.

I prefer 6630 anyday. Also 3G is useless in india so chuckout 6680.

Between 6681 and 6630 i like 6630 for speed.

6681 looks better though but 6630 keypad is lot better than 6681. I send abt 500 sms a day and I used 6681 once and my hand started to feel uneasy. 6630 no problems what so ever.

i think if you can stretch a little you should buy n70. It will be a better investment. But the keys are cramped like hell.

Car was parked overnight at a friend's place in Bandra, as the battery was farked. Last Wednesday, during the bad rains, I went there, got a mechanic to start the car (it wasn't even starting on its own), and he told me to keep it on all the way back home in town, about 11KM in peak traffic without it going off.

At Mahim causeway, near the church, phone was on the dash, window had to be rolled down, as I couldn't operate the AC. Felt a hard hit on the back of the head, this in stop-start traffic jam. Looked down for a minute, felt a huge-ass bump on the head, looked up, two minutes later noticed the phone was gone...

Blocked it via IMEI, it has a lock code as well, so the basta*d can't use it, but still.. big phatka...

i think he can still use it, as IMEI number can be changed via reprogramming @200/- from any mechanic.

tech head stick with the 6630.. its faster than the other 2, and 18K abd 16K color ain't discernable much. The 6630 also doesn't slow down with a 512 MB card, try it on these 2..:P And the cheapo chrome buttons suck...
 
lock code can be easily reset. One method is to enter the master security code and gain access. There is a keygen for this. Another method is to flash the phone. Everything will get reset.
how did you block the IMIE no?
 
Please stay clear of 6681 or 6680. They have got just 7 mb of free ram(working ram ) . This will lead to a lot of problems when multi tasking. Better stay with 6630 or wait for n72
 
6630 ... it infact has a better compatibility with the apps. currently available ... unless ur getting a new phone .. stick to the 6630 ...

Hmm .. i've around 8.2 MB ram always free .... except after running the phone and messing around a bit for hours it comes down to 7.8 MB ....
 
i guess 6630 production has been stopped in places like singapore.. even in india soon i guess... but its an awesome VFM symbian phone..
where else do u get symbian OS,1.3mp,3g and good stereo sound for 10k?
