Looking for a 70mm 3pin CPU fan to replace the stock AMD socket 754 CPU fan which is very noisy. Preferable with a low speed <2500 rpm.

Anyone having a spare 70mm fan, please PM or post. :)

i have 2 one from socket 939 spins at 6000rpm and one from socket 754 less than 3k rpm

(use cool n quiet or speedfan)

I tried both CnQ and speedfan, it reduces the clock speed of the cpu but does not reduce the speed of the fan, it spins constantly at 4500~5500 rpm, because I guess the mobo does not support it.

The 70mm fan that you have from a socket 754 cpu, is the max speed 3k rpm or does it spin @3k due to CnQ ? Because if the max speed is about 4.5-5k rpm and it spins at 3k rpm due to CnQ, it will not help me because my mobo does not support it. Can you provide any specific model# for it ?
