Graphic Cards 7300 GT or 7600 GS..? n which brand?

Hey guys, this is my first post in TE and i am in a huge dilemma..i wanna buy a new gfx card within a budget of 6.5k-7k...i have sorted out 7300 GT and 7600GS as the worthy contenders but that is where the problem begins..i cant decide from here..i've seen tom's hardware gfx card benchmarks and all of them the 7600gs wins hands down from the 7300gt..
Plus i dont intend to o/c my gfx card..so which is a better buy..i'm getting a BIG 7300GT for 5.5k and BIG 7600GS for 6.3k..but i'm kind of uneasy with this BIG brand..Could u guys pls tell me the price of XFX 7600GS in mumbai(lamington rd price)...

Shud i go for BIG or do u guys recommend XFX?? Also if any other good brand is available, pls tell me..i tried to find MSI but only 7300gs is available in MSI..:@

Pls help me out..i wanna make a decision by tomorrow..:)
 
Even I had problems getting XFX 7600GS, check if you can find ones from other brands like Leadtek, Xpertvision/Palit as some users have reported problems with BIG cards.

I guess IT-Depot is back online and is selling the 7600GS. Doesn't the 7600GS have a 128bit mem inferface and fanless cuz it uses DDR2 instead of DDR3? Would be great in building a fanless gaming system or a quiet PC which is a subject that really interests me :).
 
Hey xfactor, doesnt Leadtek have only 1 yr. warranty?? though i'm not sure about it..n thanks for that deal..actually i'm looking for a gfx card for my new system..so wud probably prefer a brand new piece..:)
But i still dont know the price of the xfx 7600gs here in mumbai..cud u help me on it?
Hey sydras, the 7600gs is sure 128 bit and the BIG model available is gddr3..but i have heard bad things about BIG..so m kind of confused which brand to go for..okay between xfx n leadtek, which wud be better?
 
Hey try to get a Forsa Geforse 7600 GS or Gt as it provide a huge copper fan for cooling and its not soo pricey must be in ur budget well don't even think of 7300 as they are not well . Well XFX will charge more but is best for nVIDIA

Well 7600 is totally 128 bit on board but if u could increase ur budget by 3-5 u could get urself a 7900 GS from leadteak .... And bt. Leadteak and XFX hell lot sure XFX the best

i think.....i m pretty sure its3 yrs........btw.... 7600gs ll be better.... however increase ur budget slightly n get a 7600gt.....
just my 2 cents

Thanks for ur input, guys...:) Well, shashwat, i'd love to go for the 7900 GS but thats way beyond my budget as i'm already spending close to 40k on the system without the gfx card...which again has gone beyond my budget of the whole system@40-42k...:( so, i'll have to settle for something between the 7300gt and the 7600gs..
But cud u pls quote me the price of XFX 7600GS n the LeadTEk one..??
Also is FORSA a good brand in comparison to BIG?? What is the warranty on FORSA??
And what wud be the price of the FORSA 7600GS?? Is it available at Lamington,Mumbai...?? Pls tell me whr to get it from in MUMBAI??:)
 
if u r strict on ur budget then go for XFX 7600GS otherwise spend 1k more and get urself a Palit 7600GT for 8k which is significantly better
 
Thanks Xfactor n hotstuff .....but now i am kind of confused..more brands coming in the way..okay, how will you guys rate these brands in descending order..the best first... MSI, XFX, LEADTEK,PALIT, FORSA & BIG??

And of these, can anyone quote me the price of the 7600GS in any of these brands? Any of them..
MSI is hard to find at lamington... so of the XFX, LEADTEK, PALIT n FORSA, which one wud be the best buy?? I dont wanna spend more than 7k on the card..
 
I confirmed with Plug n Play, Lamington rd..they dont have the Palit or Forsa 7600GS...n they are looking for XFX... tht crappy BIG is all over the place but its hard to find better brands..sad story..:(
Okay so do u guys know any other shop in lamington where i shud confirm the availability of Forsa, palit or XFX?
 
Thanks a lot ppl for all the help...i've got tha XFX 7600 256 mb ddr2 from Plug n Play for 6.5k...i've not fired it yet as my monitor will arrive tomorrow..cant wait a minute to get this baby oced..:)
