cost of leadtek???and which is better buy???7600GT or 7900GS???I wont change my gfx card until 2008.what is the lowest price of 7900Gs available today?? Thank you lord_nemesis for quick reply

if you are not gonna upgrade for some time to come, then I would suggest that you spend a bit more and get yourself a 7900GT. price should be 15~16k now. Forget the 7600GT, it is not value for money now as it wont be able to run any of the games comming in 2007 at decent quality enough to justify the price. Also if you can wait till the end of this month and do it because with the introduction of DX10 cards, the prices of the 7k series should come down.
 
thank you thexfactor for the link.I will try till prices get down until the next month and buy a good card.I think it is a good choice.My G965 sucks in graphics.

7900GT makes a difference at high resolutions. It all boils down to how much you wanna spend. Both 7900GS and 7900GT give what they are worth.

I overclocked it...:ohyeah:, increased the base clock from 266MHz to 300MHz. so that takes the Processor clock from 266 x 7 = 1866MHz to 300 x 7 = 2100MHz. If what you are asking is whether I have a third party heatsink, then no, I dont have one. I am using the crappy heatsink and Fan that comes that comes with the processor. Core 2 processors run cool and there is no need for a seperate heatsink fan to do such small overclocks. Infact many people have managed to run E6300 at upto 3Ghz without any fancy cooling.
my Processor temperature is 37deg (outside) and core temp are 42 and 43deg at idle.
 
Yup get a leadtek or XFX 7900gs or gt.If you are buying gt then don't go for the factory overclocked ones.They seem to be having some issues.Also if you cn wait a bit longer then you can get one pretty cheap.

Also which monitor are you using????
 
im using 17 inches lcd and max resolution i can get is 1280X1024 .It is a old one.I want my graphic card until 2008.thank you for u help.I think 7900gs is a better buy at these resolutions????
