Graphic Cards 7900Gt vs 1900Xt

7900GT is 18k approx.

X1900XT is 27-28k, provided ur buying from india. You get what you pay for, so obviosuly the 1900xt is much faster, and more expensive as well.

if you want to couple it as a cad and DCC workstation I would say Nvidia rules..I have felt the difference......
but for games Il go with what most people here prefer..ATI

^^ like vij said it depends on the utility... if u are going for a gaming rig which i think u are coz otherwise u would be lookin at an Nvidia Quadro or the likes ...

Reports of 7900GTs going bokers as well...if i had the cash 1900xt eyes closed for gaming... as far as overclocking goes..i guess Nvidia has a slight edge not sure.. but ATI has a better memory architecture and stuff... read this thread from AT and ignore the posts by a guy called AKSHAYT  yea TB has posted in this thread on AT

AnandTech - X1900XT or eVGA 7900GT KO

yes you go with 1800XT for gaming if budget is a constrain...

Even Nvidia gaming cards peform very well in cad/DCC compared to ATI gaming cards...You dont have to go until quadro..Even the shading in opengl apps looks better sometimes and nvidia cards dont go bleep as often as ATI in that regard...

Having said that gaming is a different scenario altogether...

and yeah a quadro is a little out of bounds on the pricing point of view :ashamed:
