CPU/Mobo 7c temp difference between cores.

Pending show off with the new stuff just arrived, but was just tweaking my comp, learning it, testing it etc etc and I notice a consistent 5-7c difference between core 0 and core 1 in RealTemp. Is this normal?
Running piblack 4gb, e7300, ud3r and gtx260 core 216 sc.

I did a basic bump from 2.66ghz to 3ghz. Everything stable.

Right now its a bit cooler ambient, what with middle of the night and all so its idling at 28 & 35, respectively. With prime95 running for about 10 mins, it goes up to 50 & 54, respectively.

Third screenie is mem. Real loose timings. I tried manually putting it at 4-4-4-12, but wowza. Everything was ****ing up. Booted fine, but random shit was messing up. Put it back to auto, and that puts it at 5-5-5-15.

Also fsb:dram is at 2:3. How much does that make the actual Ram speed? 900? 600? My math sucks.

What should I do for tightening the ram timings a bit?

Any basics things that need to be turned on/off before OCing? Wanna hit 3.6ghz nice and cool stable soon.

Oh yeah, stock everything. HS and all.

One core will always be hotter than the other. Not much of a worry. Load delta between both cores is pretty normal.

FSB : DRAM 2:3 implies, that your RAM will run at 3/2 the speed of your set FSB i.e. your set FSB = 300 Mhz => DRAM = (300 * 3)/2= 900/2 = 450 Mhz.

So, DRAM is set much higher than set FSB. PI blacks should be able to operate at 450(900) Mhz at CL4 timings. What exactly is the issue?
 
Well, I'm not very experience with OC. Actually, this is my first time. All I did was set the timings mode to normal and set it to 4-4-4-12. It boots fine with that, but after that weird shit starts happening. Avira gives random exceptions, realtemp doesn't load at all, etc etc. What do I need to do? Bump up the dram volts?

Also, if I wanted to go from 3g to 3.6g, how would I go about it? 10mhz increments and when it start failing bump vcore a wee bit?

How can I check stability quickly? I was thinking one Sensor Test in RealTemp using Prime95.
 
You CANNOT test for stability quickly :)

OCing is something that needs all the time you can dedicate to it. Trying to rush things will lead to a messy/unstable OC.

to go from 3G to 3.6G you could bump up in increments of say 75MHz uptill 3.2G then bring that down to 50MHz bumps... touch the volts ONLY when it refuses to be stable.

A good stability tester would be OCCT
 
set 3.6ghz by clicking the button in easytune then it will ask to restart , when restarting , enter into bios and select PLL and vcore manually and enable Load line cal , mch ref and cpu ref on auto , Ram SPD to 2.4B .and rest settings on auto , then check if its stable in windows and keep on lowering vcore in windows until it looses stability . do the same for cpu termination and other voltages . dont touch any reference voltages .
