Just found a page on this PSU ...

http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...=2881&osCsid=1ed64f0f0bfbcbeea9017b7d6a5c4db5

Price mentioned is $489.95 ....

EDIT: It just struck me that if this PSU was sold here it would be priced about 25,000/- to 30,000/- !!! OH WOW !!!! :O :O :O

Thought soooo...
Cant imagine people blowing 30k on a PSU only
Still if you ask me its simply an overpriced tank. Not needed for any desktop or even most servers dont need this.

Great thread here really worth a read :)

Wud be useful if you run a dual opteron with dual quadros or something. Or when overclocking with LN2 :D. Not for the mere mortals like us :P.

i think what chaos ment was when you are doing extreme ocing with voltmods, special cooling and stuff where having a good PSU matters.
If you are geek enough to go LN2 you are already rich enough to get this PSU ;)
I shall have this one day :P
Till then Antec SP it is :P

Yup what funky suggested is what i meant. There's no way the actual LN2 cooling system would work with a computer psu :). When oc'ing u need ur psu to remain stable even with extremely high power draw. Most typical PSUs fail at that and this psu excels. PCP&C is the preferred psu for most overclockers worldwide.
