Idles @ 58-59C ....played pro-street...evertythin maxed out ...1280X1024@85Hz ...completed two races and temp was about 81C....within 10sec it came back to 59C
Is this normal ......???
I am using NvTempLogger...when I start Pro Street ...i get beeps indicating that temp is above threshold...(default is 75C)

yea its quite normal takin into consideration my gfx reaches temp of 89C :bleh:

I did a temp logging with NVTempLogger...played Pro Street with everything maxed out 1280 X 1024..completed two races .....stopped logging

Max:100C

Min:58C (idle)

Avg: 83C

Though its a bit alarming but not a problem. Make sure your case has proper air circulation, if needed attach a fan on top of any free PCI slot so that it throws air on the GC.

Problem certainly is not the card but heat not moving out of the case.

I know ppl are taking their core temps to 720ish and mem to 1.7GHz and mine is 620 for the core and 1.6GHz for the mem....BUT my shaders are at 1355MHz.....are you guys clocking the shaders as well ??

are these temp hjigh cause the shaders are OCd too ?

Default Shaders are @ 1190MHz

Mine is @ 1355MHz

yea mine is 1420 ;)

Thanks to Ero Sanin and Bikey...the case-cooling seems to have lowered temps considerably

Idle:54C Load70C

though i haven'y played for more than 15mins at a stretch (blame work)

but prior to the case-cooling combo being installed i had

idle 59C

load 89C

^^^^as mentioned before it certainly was a problem with case airflow, and its good that you have resolved it.

No to slap in an after market cooler ....OCing here i come :)

how abt keepin the case open???

keeping the cabinet open tends to create hot ambient which in return give more problem. cuz there should be something to throw out the air and a good airflow in a system in must
