Graphic Cards 8600Gt kaput ...new graphic card needed !

I'm from hyderabad . i called computer bazaar and Gaffar said the 512 mb version wasnt available and quoted a price of rs.5900 for the 1 GB version :( ..he also said he didnt have the FSP sagaII psu ...

I tried calling swetha computers in CTC , but they weren't picking up .and an other question ... Are there any good alternatives to FSP SAGA II PSU ? i'm planing to get one below 1.5 k ...and yeah i just don't want to get another card for like 2 years ..so i was looking at the 5670

Don't connect your GPU with cheap PSU. Never save money especially when it comes to PSU. As suggested go with Gigabyte Superb 460w PSU then.

The 5670 uses an Arctic Cooling GPU cooler that is a dual-slot design...does it mean my mobo needs 2 PCI-E slots ? I have an intel DG965RY..will the card fit ?

it only means that it takes the space of two slots, which means u will have to say goodbye to the pci slot just below ur pci-e slot.hope i cud help.

The 4850 is cornered by a HD 5750 + lower power consumption safe to concur the HD 5670 will run cooler, quieter and more efficiently :) and will perform similar to 4850 in most cases

The 5750 vs 4850 is a no brainer as the 5750 costs much more than the 4850.Would u pay 2 k more than the 4850 for a 5750 and not assume it to be a better peroformer .if power consumption is an issue the 4770 is a good option also.performs a bit lesser than the 4850.Check out these links.Even the 4770 kicks the 5670's ass
