I am comparing the performance with 8800GTX ....

3D marks 06 default settings

there was only 500 points increase in points so i am not posting this .....

i know its because of CPU ..... to remove the CPU limitation i changed the AA and AF settings for next test

3D marks05 with 8xAA and 16xAF @1280x1024

this test shows the difference between two cards :)

Well , considering that Oblivion with Qarl's Texture Pack 3 easily uses more than 512 MB Vram , i wonder how this 320 MB version will do with the newer games at higher resolution ..

Seriously... Wheres ur C2D? Ur getting 8800's for testing, and your doing it with Single Core A64's?

Ur Sig atleast shows a Opty 170 :/.. Why arent you using that?

i am building a test system for this purpose only but this will take some time :( ...... about the bottleneck let udit post his results again then we will see .....
i don't think dual core opetron will be much help in 3D mark 05 ..... in 05 its all depends upon clock speed rather than cores :)

Damn!!!! I was about to order the ASUS X1950PRO soon.I doubt it will debut at $299 upon release, $319-$329 w/o rebate is more likely falling to $299 with rebate.If it debuts at $299 or less, no other card in the $200-$300 range will sell!

Damn can't decide whethe to get the x1950 pro now and then return it($30 loss in restocking) or just wait for it and watch prices fall in a month(and they might fall by more than $30 so comes out to be the same thing...lol..I'm a miser...)

WTF?Happens only when I use IE7,lol. And u know I have been very restrained for over 6 months...rofl....don't even post here much...
 
WTH, just ordered the card anyway( for other reasons, needed a good wireless adapter asap as well ).Lets see what happens on Monday, I can still use the card for a month and return it or wait for it to go outta stock (which it will pretty soon given its fickle supply history...) and then RMA it, lol this is fun, just hope they don't blacklist me for 'loaning' cards from them!
