Graphic Cards 8800GTX: Black or Green PCB?

I was just wondering what is the difference between 8800GTX's with the green PCB and black PCB? Which is better (if so) what is the difference? Any difference in thermal specs or something? Any difference in PCB manufacturers???

Friend placing order today on newegg... ASUS or EVGA? That's why I'm asking...Price is the same...

Naa they are the same just the die color used on the PCB was different :P
I would say get XFX if you cant then the EVGA.
 
eVGA and OCZ have had more consistent overclocking results than other brands, something to consider if you plan to overclock.

Why does everyone recommend XFX all the time on these forums??..if your getting it from the States get the eVGA..it has the best reviews on Newegg. I intend to do the same.

unless..

the XFX is considerably cheaper of course..

^^ You got it wrong. I am not an XFX fan :P. I thought ASUS b'coz they already have a presence here and therefore a replacement might be possible with jugad.

Anyways its done, my friend has ordered EVGA, leastways he'll do the same sometime today.

Didn't mean only you...everyone across these forums and at that other shite forum keeps going on about XFX..

XFX is the best brand of nvidia cards available in India, dafreaking. Thats why.

OT I also ordered 4 GB of OCZ platinum 1066 as they seemed the best priced, Micron D9's AFAIK.

^^I would think ASUS would be better than XFX, Leadtek would also qualify, as would MSI and Gigabyte though availability would be rare.

I will. keep watching this forum. Mind you I will consider the card being mine when I recieve the box in my own hands ;)

prepare yourself for all the pics you can handle then...
