The best way to answer that question: people with more money than brains should get the Ultra :D

Get the GTX mate, and an eVga at that, if you have easy access to the US market...

That is if something goes wrong, you can easily send it back to the US for repairs/replacement as eVGA offers a pretty comprhensive lifetime warranty (everything accept physical damages to the card)

See the thing is that this OC'd Ultra costs a lot lot more then then the gain in performance it delivers

Newegg.com - EVGA 768-P2-N835-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SUPERCLOCKED HDCP Video Card - Retail

This is Ultra level OC'd GTX at $600

While a normal GTX costs $560

Newegg.com - EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail

The OC'd Ultra costs $750, a whopping 7000 higher for a marginal increase in performance.

PhysX cards are useless atm... wait for the technology to mature and then decide if you really need it. By then, I'm guessing quads will go mainstream and one of the cores could be used for physics (maybe?) or GPU's could have a dedicated core to handle physics (maybe?).

Again, spend wisely... both GTX and Ultra will be succeeded by faster cards end of year... ready to spend another $700 on a new flagship card by then? If yes, blindly spend on a $700 card now.
