3870 beats the 9600GT by a small percent in most of the games,but when the filters are enable at higher resolutions,the 9600GT may also sometimes overtake the 3870.

+1 for 3870 as its at least as good if not better than the 9600 GT in most benchmarks, and new drivers will bring some improvements as well, especially in Vista
